Waaaaaayyyy back in January I made this for Mom's birthday. I didn't have much time, so I used royal icing flowers that I had on hand. (I make batches of them here and there and save them for times when I need to make a cake fast.) :)
The cake was a spice cake with cream cheese frosting.
